Bangladesh Cricket Board Nazmul Hasan's Papon residence caught fire.

The residence of Youth and Sports Minister and BCB President Nazmul Hasan (Papan) in Bhairab was attacked. In addition to this, the upazila Awami League office, the Muktijoddha Chatwar, and a mural of Bangabandhu were also vandalized.

Nazmul Hasan Municipal Park, situated in the Bhairab Bus Stand area along the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, was set on fire. The Darshan Cinema Hall, owned by Upazila Awami League General Secretary Jahangir Alam, and Jannat Restaurant, owned by Ward Awami League President Mintu Mia, both located in the same area, were heavily vandalized.
